Covid-19 Prevention
Face masks

Face masks combined with other preventive measures, such as frequent hand-washing and social distancing, can help prevent transmission of COVID-19.
CDC recommends wearing cloth or fabric face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., grocery stores and pharmacies) especially in areas of significant community-based transmission.
Although cloth or fabric masks are not surgical masks or N-95 respirators, which are critical supplies that must be reserved for healthcare workers and other first responders, they can slow the spread of COVID-19.
Note: CDC does not recommend that cloth or fabric face coverings be placed on young children under age 2, anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.
