Fitzgerald Marketing & Communications Participates in #GivingTuesday 2021

CHICAGO, Illinois (December 2, 2021) — Fitzgerald Marketing & Communications (FitzMC), a comprehensive provider of innovative marketing services, participated in #GivingTuesday by donating a total of $5,200 to 26 charitable organizations. These 26 organizations were chosen by FitzMC employees in the categories of Health & Wellness/Medical Research, Human Services/Social Welfare, Education, Animal Protection & Welfare, and Arts & Culture serving local, national and international communities.

For #GivingTuesday 2021, FitzMC allocated each employee $200 to donate to the charitable organization of their choice.

FitzMC has always maintained a charitable heart by making donations to disaster relief, medical research, and local community organizations. In 2014, FitzMC started allowing each employee the opportunity to submit the name of an organization for FitzMC to donate to. By extending the gifting selection to each employee, we made each donation personal.

Kathy Shine, partner of FitzMC stated,

“The entire Fitzgerald Marketing & Communications team gains great satisfaction in giving back to such worthy charities. Our individual preferences are diverse but all the receiving organizations are 501(3)c registered and deserving of our contributions.”

Participating in #GivingTuesday is only part of FitzMC’s giving back philosophy. In the last 10 years alone we have donated more than $230,000 to organizations providing honorable services all over the world.

This year, our Company charitable contributions included a $5,000 donation in memory of our beloved founder, Patrick M Fitzgerald, to the Butterfield Scholarship Program (BSP) which Pat was instrumental in founding at Butterfield Country Club (BCC), Oak Brook, Illinois. BSP scholarships are awarded to qualified student-employees of BCC with financial need. Since BSP’s inception in 2017, 265 grants have been awarded for a total of $819,400 to BCC student-employees for their post-high school education to either a college, university or technical/career advancement institution.
